Every now and then I see some Disney artwork that I just really love, and these new images from artist Monty Maldovan fall into that category. I feel that he really captured a certain charm about Mickey, and I love seeing him with Figment, Orange Bird and Duffy.
Monty will be in Walt Disney World on January 18th and 19th from 6pm to 8pm at Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney® Marketplace, to debut and sign his newest masterpieces.
Monty started his Disney career in 1992 as a seasonal Cast Member for the Easter parade. After that, he transferred to a full-time position at the Disney MGM Studios as a tour guide or the Backstage Studio Tour. After about two years of bouncing around the Park, working at different attractions and events, he landed a job with Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida in the Ink and Paint Department. From there he moved his way up and obtained a job as a Final Checker. This is where he had the chance to make one of his dreams come true and work on the animated film "Mulan." He eventually joined the Disney Design Group.
It's evident from his work that he doesn't just create Disney artwork, but has a real passion for it. I look forward to seeing what else he has up his sleeve in the future!

Thanks for the Great post about Monty Maldovan he is a Great Disney artist.
